Isabel was born on the mainland of Australia in Melbourne. She has a mother who is Swiss and her father Australian. Her family came located in Cairns in Australia. They lived in Cairns Australia. Along with Nina, her younger sister Nina she attended schools that included First Nations children as well as children from other cultures. Isabel currently resides in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel was a performer in her school. She then went on to pursue acting at The Victorian College of Arts Queensland University of Technology and also recently studied her studies in the PEM method Perdekamp Psychological Method. Her agent in 2002 discovered that she'd never performed in a role before. She was auditioning to play a character in Home and Away, 1988.
